Although Dallas Cowboys quarterbackDak Prescott often plays coy about his private life, he couldn't help but spotlight his love story with Sarah Jane Ramos.
"My relationship status? It is pending," Prescott told Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA in August 2023.
By November 2023, however, the quarterback was ready to make things official with Ramos on her 30th birthday. He proposed less than a year later.
Just weeks before they were set to tie the knot in Italy, Prescott and Ramos - who welcomed daughter Margaret in February 2024 and daughter Aurora in May 20025 - called off their wedding in March 2026.
"They love their girls, and they're committed to raising their children together in the most loving and positive way," Ramos' rep shared in a statement to People at the time. "It's still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out."

Most recently, she served as an on-premise area manager for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, the largest wine and spirits distributor in North America.

Away from the football field, Ramos appreciates the game of golf. Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos welcomed their first daughter, Margaret Jane Rose Prescott, in February 2024. Their second daughter, Aurora Rayne, arrived in May 2025.
"Parenting brings a new element to your relationship because it's not about you two anymore, the priority is your child," Ramos shared with Sports Illustrated in December 2024. "But [parenting] makes you understand your partner on such a deeper, emotional level, and it's definitely brought us even closer. It's a blessing."
What Led to Sarah Jane Ramos and Dak Prescott's Split?
In March 2026, Sarah Jane Ramos' rep confirmed the mother of two and Dak Prescott had called off their engagement and upcoming wedding.
"There wasn't any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up," the rep shared with People at the time. "It was a mutual decision."
Ramos also slammed a claim that the split was related to finances. After seeing a clip from the "Speakeasy" podcast, where several hosts speculated about what could have led to Prescott's recent split, Ramos wrote via Instagram, "This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now."
