LeBron James' Agent Praises Payton Pritchard For Bringing This To Celtics

Boston Celtics point guard and reigning Sixth Man of the Year Payton Pritchard just received some praise from Klutch Sports Group founder Rich Paul, also known as LeBron James' agent.

During a recent episode of the Game Over podcast, Paul commended Pritchard’s professionalism and team-first, positive attitude as the Celtics push through the 2025-26 campaign, specifically in how Pritchard has responded to toggling between starter and bench roles for Boston.

“I can guarantee you this, and I don't even know him that well,” Paul said of Pritchard. “I can guarantee you Payton Pritchard didn't have one negative response to (his role change) in the team meeting … that's a winning attitude.”

Paul's praise arrives as the 43-21 Celtics remain firmly in the Eastern Conference playoff picture with Jayson Tatum back on the court less than 10 months after his Achilles rupture. Pritchard has embraced multiple roles, delivering consistent scoring, playmaking and leadership.

Through 63 games, the guard is averaging career-high numbers across the board with 16.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game in 32.5 minutes per night. He has produced several standout outings, including a 42-point game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and a 25-point, nine-assist performance versus the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 28-year-old Pritchard continues to impact winning.
