Northumberland hotel 'like Hogwarts' says Barcelona star as team checks in

The five‑star country estate, set in hundreds of acres of rolling parkland around 18 miles west of Newcastle, has become the Catalan giants’ base as they prepare for a huge night under the lights at St James’ Park.

With its sweeping drive, towering stone façade and ornate interiors, the Gothic‑style mansion is a world away from the modern team hotels usually favoured by Europe’s elite.
