CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Browns are expected to sign former Packers Pro Bowl center, Elgton Jenkins, according to NFL insider, Ian Rapoport.
The deal is reportedly for 2-years, $24 million with $20 million guaranteed.
Jenkins spent the last seven seasons in Green Bay before he was released to clear approximately $19.5 million in cap space. He was entering the final year of a four-year, $68 million extension.
Jenkins brings versatility to the Browns offensive line. He’s started games at four different positions on the offensive line. Primarily he’s played at left guard (67 starts), followed by 13 starts at center, eight at left tackle and six at right tackle.
In 2025, Jenkins season was cut short after he suffered a lower-leg fracture and ligament damage against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jenkins is a 2x Pro Bowler (2020,2022) and was selected in the 2nd round (44th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Mississippi State.
