Strus is set to return next week from his lengthy foot recovery.
Max Strus is poised to finally make his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Per Joe Vardon of The Athletic, the veteran wingman is poised for his 2025-26 debut at some point next week as he is still in the final stages of his foot rehabilitation.
"You haven’t heard much this NBA season about Strus, 29, because he hasn’t played. He is still fighting his way back from offseason surgery to repair a fracture in his left foot, and after months of waiting he is nearing a return that could happen within the next week," Vardon wrote.
Strus underwent surgery this past offseason on his fractured left foot. He hasn't played a game yet this year.
His return, shooting and reliability will be a tremendous boost for the Cavs team that is gunning for an NBA title.
Strus averaged 9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists last season for Cleveland.
