Ravens back out of Maxx Crosby trade with Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders announced Tuesday afternoon that the Ravens have reversed course on the trade that would have sent defensive star Maxx Crosby to Baltimore for two first-round picks.

“The Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Maxx Crosby,” a statement from the Raiders said. “We will have no further comment at this time.”

Crosby, who had knee surgery after the season, is believed to have been in Baltimore on Monday. It’s unclear if he might have failed a physical with the team.

The Raiders were expected to receive two first-round picks in return.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
