Trey Hendrickson given ultimate lifeline after Ravens back out of Maxx Crosby trade

The NFL offseason is never short of headlines, and we have just gotten a monster update dropped on us as the Baltimore Ravens have backed out of their trade with Maxx Crosby.

With reports that Maxx failed his medical, the Ravens are now out on Crosby, leaving the franchise and the Las Vegas Raiders at a loss as to what the next move could be.

And while there are plenty of losers in this scenario, a big winner is Trey Hendrickson.

The star pass rusher has got several offers on the table, but the news has been quiet. Well, with Maxx failing his medical, now he might jump to the top of the pass-rusher wish list for teams in free agency.

No Crosby for Ravens

With Crosby having surgery on his knee in the offseason, the fact that he's failed his physical is a big deal here.

The Ravens clearly felt it was bad enough to go back on the trade, which wasn't official yet, and keep their two first-round picks.

Where the franchise pivots from here is unknown, but one player in Hendrickson likely just saw the list of teams needing his services grow longer.

The NFL is always full of surprises at this time of year, but I doubt anyone saw this coming.

And now Trey could be the big beneficiary of it.
