Texas A&M sent 13 players to the 2026 NFL Combine. Here is a rundown of each player that needs to be replaced as well as the possible replacements for each.
Texas A&M corner Will Lee III is headed to the league on the strength of his size which enabled him to reroute receivers and knock passes down in his vicinity. He was at his best in close up coverages, riding people into the boundary and making it difficult for them to find the ball because they were too busy trying to stay on the field or turn around for the ball. He was a very good corner to the field, and too often (and in conjunction with edge Cashius Howell) forced opponents to default to lower percentage fade routes.
The players who will be replacing him don't necessarily have his length but should be faster. However, A&M is also going to try to play more zone coverage in 2025 which could tilt the field towards one of the competitors moreso than the others.
