Miami’s Bam Adebayo has produced one of the most remarkable performances in NBA history, pouring in 83 points for the second-highest tally in a game in league history.
Adebayo went 20-43 from the field and a whopping 36-43 from the free-throw line in Miami’s rout of Washington, with his points total behind only the legendary Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game from 1962.
The Heat centre passed Kobe Bryant’s total of 81 from 2006 - which had been the previous No.2 ranked scoring performance - with a string of late free throws.
Miami torched a Wizards outfit featuring former Perth Wildcats centre Alex Sarr 150-129.
