Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo scored the second-most points in a single game in NBA history after finishing with a historic 83-point performance in a 150-129 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.
Adebayo broke the mark of 81 points held by the late Kobe Bryant set in 2006. Only Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game was a higher total.
The Heat big man shot 20-for-43 from the field, including 7-for-22 from three, and 36-for-43 from the free throw line.
