Celtics' Joe Mazzulla Has Wild Response To Jaylen Brown's Ejection

The Boston Celtics' 125-116 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night had no shortage of drama.

Jaylen Brown was at the center of it in the second quarter, getting ejected after arguing with the officials. He took issue with referee Tyler Ford, who appeared to miss a foul on Brown that occurred directly in front of him.

Brown received a technical foul for barking at Ford, who was also the crew chief. He then received a second technical from Suyash Mehta, resulting in an automatic ejection for Brown and sending him into a rage.

He had to be held back by several Celtics teammates and coaches, including Joe Mazzulla.

When asked about the incident during his postgame press conference, Mazzulla gave a typically zany response.

"I just give a ton of credit to my high school principal. He had the balls to throw a student out. He didn't leave it to the hall monitor," Mazzulla replied.

Mazzulla was then asked what frustrated him during the sequence.

"He was a hell of a principal," Mazzulla responded.

There you have it. Mazzulla and his players will try to rebound from Tuesday's loss on Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
