Celtics' Jaylen Brown Chirps Refs With NSFW Post Immediately After Ejection

Tuesday night might have been the maddest Jaylen Brown has ever been in his NBA career.

Brown suffered a major meltdown during the second quarter of the Boston Celtics' game against the San Antonio Spurs. His displeasure with a no-call quickly escalated from jawing into needing to be restrained by his teammates and coaches.

With about four minutes left before halftime, Brown was seemingly fouled on the sideline in front of crew chief Tyler Ford and was pushed out of bounds. Ford didn't call it, however, giving the Spurs the ball and triggering an immediate negative reaction from Brown.

Brown was quickly assessed a technical foul by Ford, and then a second one by Suyash Mehta, resulting in an automatic ejection. That's when Brown really lost it, requiring his teammates and coaches to hold him back.

After Brown was removed from the game, he posted an NSFW message to his X account within minutes, continuing to criticize the refs.

"This the (expletive) I be talking about," Brown wrote.

Brown was also livid with the referees after Boston's previous loss to San Antonio in January. The Celtics shot only four free throws in that one, prompting a postgame tirade from Brown that earned him a $35,000 fine from the league.

Accordingly, it wouldn't be surprising if Brown is fined again, especially since he still hasn't deleted his message as of early Wednesday morning.
