Arsenal are set to loan out Myles Lewis-Skelly this summer.
The left-back has endured a difficult second season under Mikel Arteta, and ha has limited game time, with Piero Hincapié and Riccardo Califiori both ahead of him in the pecking order. And that as cost him any hopes he might have had of making Thomas Tuchel’s England squad.
He would have played in the FA Cup tie against Mansfield Town but he was suspended.
Now it is believed that the best thing for his football development is to be playing regular football somewhere, with Everton, who were tentatively linked with a move for him in January, a possible destination.
There are also suggestions that Real Madrid have been monitoring his situation and could be ready to move for him as a long-term option, either at left-back or in midfield.
