The Milwaukee Bucks fell 129-114 to the Phoenix Suns, dropping four of their last five games and closing a disappointing home stand. The matchup also marked the return of Giannis Antetokounmpo after he missed the previous game, along with Taurean Prince, who had been sidelined for most of the season with a neck injury.

Milwaukee stumbled out of the locker room again, allowing a string of easy baskets as Phoenix opened with a 9-2 run. Milwaukee quickly responded and settled into its offense, pulling even at 9-9 as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ousmane Dieng began to find a rhythm. The rest of the quarter turned into a back and forth stretch, with the Bucks briefly moving ahead 19-14.
The second quarter unfolded in similar fashion, with both teams trading runs that largely offset each other. Milwaukee sparked a 9-0 surge midway through the period, fueled by three quick three pointers. Kyle Kuzma then caught fire late in the quarter, scoring nine points in the final two minutes, including a 28 footer at the buzzer that sent the Bucks into the break with energy. Halftime score: Bucks 65, Suns 62.

Milwaukee showed more urgency coming out of halftime, pushing ahead 73-62 early in the third quarter. The momentum did not last long, however. Phoenix answered with a 15-4 run midway through the period, pulling even at 77 with 7:38 remaining. The Suns carried that push into the final stretch of the quarter and held a 100-97 lead heading into the fourth.
Phoenix seized control early in the fourth quarter, opening the period with a 7-0 run that stretched its lead to double digits. Phoenix kept that advantage the rest of the way as the Bucks lost their momentum and faded late on what had begun as a hopeful night for the struggling group.
