Expert grades on Bryan Cook and Boye Mafe deals with Bengals

The 2026 free agency window is officially open this week, and the [Cincinnati Bengals](/) front office attacked day one with two massive additions to the defensive unit.

Duke Tobin shared that the franchise is ‘all in’ this offseason, and the Bengals name has been in conversations about multiple massive names like Devin Lloyd and even Maxx Crosby, reportedly.

The front office swung hard on day one and agreed to terms with two big-time names that will bring some serious experience and talent to the defense.

Cincinnati kicked off the day by agreeing to terms with Kansas City Chiefs free agent safety Bryan Cook, followed by Seattle Seahawks defensive end Boye Mafe, both of whom have won a Super Bowl with their former teams.
