Roberts Spears-Jennings reflects on Oklahoma career: 'Oklahoma is my home'

**[Robert Spears-Jennings](https://247sports.com/Player/robert-spears-jennings-46113154/)** has accomplished plenty over the course of his career. And soon, the star safety will get one step closer to another longtime aspiration

Oklahoma will host its Pro Day on Thursday, March 12. Spears-Jennings will have one final 'moment' in Norman amidst his pursuit of the professional level.

But regardless of what happens from Pro Day to April's NFL Draft, Spears-Jennings knows he already has plenty of memories to look back on.

"It's been a dream come true," Spears-Jennings said.

Spears-Jennings, following a productive prep career at Broken Arrow (Okla.) High, got to stay in state lines and play for the Sooners. But it's one thing to get there, it's another to make the most of the opportunity.

Spears-Jennings did exactly that. And whatever comes next, he's pleased with the reputation he leaves behind.

"Making a name for myself at the University of Oklahoma, but I'm really proud of sticking it out all four years," Spears-Jennings said. "That's kind of hard to do nowadays. So, those two things I'm really proud of."

"And just having the ability to say 'Hey, Oklahoma is my home'," Spears-Jennings added. "And knowing there's guys that are still there today who can call on me if they ever need me."

Spears-Jennings has plenty to reminisce on as a Sooner.
