I could see Celtic star moving to Premier League, he'd fit in at these two clubs

Despite having his doubters in the support due to his all-round performances, the Swedish attacking midifelder has 19 goals, and counting, in all competitions in what his his first season at the club.

He has been the team's go-to man for big moments and goals when they are needed most.

Limpar is of the belief that if the 24-year-old can do that in this Celtic team, he can do it in another side that creates a lot of chances, like Manchester United.

The former Arsenal and Everton winger told FruityKing: "Henrik Larsson was an idol when he played for Celtic and he played for Barcelona too and Benjamin Nygren isn’t playing for Sweden when Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres are fit but now that Isak can’t he is definitely going to start upfront against Ukraine. He’s knocked in 20 odd goals (actually 19) in Scotland.

"He is a prospect and he's going to get better. Imagine him playing for a top Premier League side. I'm not saying that Celtic are not top side but they are in Scotland. Nygren could play for Manchester United and he’d probably score 20 goals a season in the Premier League.

"He's that good. I just wish him all the best but he is another player I wish to see stay a couple of seasons at Celtic, to settle in and then go. But he will definitely play a big role for Sweden with Viktor upfront."

Limpar also believes Nygren would be a good fit at one his former clubs, the Toffees, and a player Scottish manager David Moyes would like to work with.

He added: "Would David Moyes love to have Benjamin Nygren at Everton? Yes, because he’s so mobile.

"He can come deep, receive the ball, and I think he has better technique than Viktor Gyokeres, but he’s not close to the whole picture of Viktor as a player yet. He is scoring vital goals for Celtic and he’s doing well.

"I saw him for Sweden against Switzerland away and he did ok. He is a prospect. He has a nose for scoring goals. We like him in Sweden and I wish him all the best."
