Knicks vs Jazz Injury Report: Is Josh Hart in the Clear?

The New York Knicks‘ Josh Hart concern remains a factor heading into their Wednesday night matchup against the Utah Jazz.

According to the official NBA injury report, Hart is dealing with left knee soreness. The veteran sharpshooter has consistently been present on the report, but has managed to push through the pain to play.

The last time Hart missed action for the Knicks was back on February 4. A double-overtime battle against the Denver Nuggets didn’t require Hart’s help to win. The Knicks continued their hot streak with a 134-127 win over Denver. Then, they came up short with a blowout loss against the Detroit Pistons to follow.

Since then, Hart has been on the court, but not at 100%. Just two games ago, he checked in for 22 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers. Hart shot 4-8 from the field to score eight points. The Knicks suffered a beatdown 110-97 loss.

In their latest outing, the Knicks faced the LA Clippers on the road. Hart managed to check in for 36 minutes. He shot efficiently, making five of his seven attempts from the field to score 12 points. It was a double-double outing for Hart, who came down with 13 rebounds per game.

The Knicks likely anticipate having Hart on the floor on Wednesday night, but the circumstances might get the veteran the night off. New York is taking on a tanking Utah Jazz team that has a crowded injury report themselves.

Who Is On The Jazz’s Injury Report?

The New Knicks have been without Deuce McBride for a while, and that will remain the case for the time being. Outside of McBride and Hart, the two-way player Dillon Jones is the only other player on the report.

On paper, the Knicks shouldn’t have any issues taking care of business on Wednesday night. The Jazz are 20-45, with just two wins over their last 10 games.

The Knicks are looking to get out of a two-game hole, as they slowly lose sight of the Eastern Conference’s second seed.

The Knicks-Jazz game will tip at 9 PM ET.
