NFL Fans Want Ravens Investigated After Trey Hendrickson Signing

The Baltimore Ravens have quickly moved on from their trade for Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby, that's for sure.

On Friday night, Baltimore agreed to send its 2026 and 2027 first-round picks to Las Vegas in exchange for Crosby. Four days later, the Raiders revealed that the Ravens backed out of their agreement. It was reported that Crosby failed his physical. His agent, however, made it clear that he's not dealing with a long-term injury concern.

"Maxx continues to be on track in his recovery and if anything is ahead of schedule according to his surgeon Dr Neal El Attrache," CJ LaBoy wrote. "Maxx remains on track to return during the offseason program & will undoubtedly return as the dominant game wrecker he has been these past 7 seasons."

After the Ravens ditched their trade for Crosby, fans assumed they would target Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson. Well, they were right.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Ravens have just agreed to a four-year, $112 million deal with Hendrickson. There are incentives that could bump his contract up to $120 million.

Fans are convinced Baltimore lied about Maxx Crosby.

"Baltimore pulled bc they knew they could get him for no picks smh," one fan commented.

"It was setup the entire time wow," a second fan said.

"The Ravens just signed Hendrickson. You need to investigate this whole thing because it reeks of suspicion," another fan said.

"The NFL should legit investigate this as the Ravens singlehandedly changed the landscape of free agency. Nasty work by Baltimore," a social media user added.

Hendrickson is undoubtedly a game changer in the trenches. He had 171 total tackles, 120 QB hits, 61 sacks and 12 forced fumbles during his time with the Bengals.

That being said, Baltimore deserves a ton of criticism for how it handled this entire situation.
