Max Strus return timeline revealed

Max Strus is nearing a return from foot surgery and could rejoin the Cleveland Cavaliers within the next week, though he will remain sidelined for their game against the Orlando Magic.

The Cleveland Cavaliers could soon receive a boost to their backcourt. According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, sharpshooting guard Max Strus is close to returning and may be available within the next week.

Strus has yet to appear in a game this season after undergoing offseason surgery to address a Jones fracture in his left foot.

Last season, the experienced wing played in 50 games for Cleveland, averaging 9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 38.6% from beyond the arc.

Strus gives the Cavaliers additional perimeter playmaking and reliable outside shooting.

However, he will not be available for Wednesday's road matchup against the Orlando Magic.
