Ravens Sign Trey Hendrickson to $112 Million Deal Hours After Maxx Crosby News

The Baltimore Ravens wasted no time in pivoting from Maxx Crosby.

Over the weekend, the Ravens agreed to ship out a pair of first-round picks to the Las Vegas Raiders for All-Pro pass rusher, Maxx Crosby — however, reported failed medicals due to a potential ‘long-term- knee issue forced the Ravens to pull out of the deal less than 24 hours before the NFL’s new league year officially begins on Wednesday afternoon.

The nixed deal left the Raiders with a perhaps disgruntled and injured Crosby and the Ravens without a star pass rusher as names began to fly off the market during the league’s legal tampering window on Monday and Tuesday…until Wednesday morning when the Ravens quickly put Crosby and the Raiders in the rearview mirror and agreeing to terms with one of their now-former AFC North rivals in the form of Cincinnati Bengals star pass rusher, Trey Hendrickson.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens are signing Hendrickson to a four-year, $112 million deal.

Hendrickson’s arrival in Baltimore should make Ravens quarterback, Lamar Jackson a very happy man as the two-time league MVP will no longer have to deal with the All-Pro pass rusher chasing after him.

Since joining the Bengals in 2021, Hendrickson ranks fourth in the NFL in sacks with 61, only trailing future Hall of Famers, Myles Garrett (83) and T.J. Watt (65,5) as well as perennial Pro Bowler, Micah Parsons (65).

The Ravens desperately needed to address their pass rush situation this off-season, which they originally attempted to do with the now-canceled Crosby trade before wasting no time in bringing in their former AFC North rival in Hendrickson. Baltimore ranked 30th in the NFL in total sacks in 2025, bringing down the opposing team’s quarterback just 30 times in 17 regular season games, which is six less sacks than Hendrickson’s 2023 and 2024 campaigns combined (36).
