Bam Adebayo wasn’t the only onecelebrating an individual achievement on Tuesday. On a lesser degree, but nonetheless admirable, Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma had an evening to remember, as hereached the 10,000-point markin the NBA during a home game against the visiting Phoenix Suns at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
The former Utah Utes star entered the Suns needing more than just his season average in points to get to the 10,00th mark within the day.
He made sure to be a 10,000-point career scorer in the Associated before Wednesday, as he posted a season-high 33 points on an efficient 12/21 shooting from the floor and on the strength of a 6/10 shooting from behind the arc.
“As a kid, I said my two dreams were I wanted to play in the NBA, and then I wanted to score 10,000 points,” Kuzma told reporters in the postgame press conference.
