Three Gators selected in ESPN's latest 2026 NBA mock draft

With Florida staring down a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament for a second consecutive postseason, the Gators are also projected to have three players selected in the NBA Draft for a second offseason in a row.

ESPN's Jeremy Woo on Wednesday released his latest 2026 NBA mock draft as college basketball enters conference tournament week, with Florida forward Thomas Haugh slotted to the San Antonio Spurs at No. 12 overall in the first round, as well as a pair of Gators going in the second round: forward Alex Condon to the Memphis Grizzlies at No. 33 overall and center Rueben Chinyelu going No. 47 overall to the Orlando Magic.

Woo offered the following analysis of Haugh's fit with the Spurs:

A first-team All-SEC selection, Haugh continues to project as one of the more bankable players in this class.

A big, tough frontcourt player with a winning pedigree, he wins extra possessions and plays with tremendous effort. While his confidence on the perimeter has visibly improved, his 3-point shooting has hovered around average for the past two seasons (34%) and it's an area he'll need to sharpen.

He doesn't create much offense for himself, but his versatile role at Florida figures to translate as long as the shot does. At 22, Haugh is on the older side, but he presents a plug-and-play option for playoff-caliber teams beginning in this part of the draft.

The Spurs are set to receive this pick via swap from the Hawks, potentially giving them another lottery selection to add to a young and increasingly deep roster.

Haugh, Florida's leading scorer at 17.2 points per game, has been instrumental to the Gators' success in his first season as a starter, also averaging 6.1 rebounds, two assists and one steal per contest.

Haugh, 6-foot-9, 215 pounds, entered UF's 1,000-point club in February and has been named to multiple award watch lists, including the Naismith Late-Season Team, the Wooden Award and Julius Erving Award midseason watch lists and Sporting News' midseason All-American team; Sporting News ultimately named Haugh a Second-Team All-American on Wednesday.

Chinyelu concluded his second regular season in Gainesville and his third at the collegiate level averaging a double-double at 11.4 points and a nation-leading 11.7 rebounds, including 7.5 defensive boards, per game.

In late February, the 6-foot-10, 265-pound Chinyelu broke Florida's program record for offensive rebounds in a single season, a record that had stood since Dwayne Davis' 114 offensive rebounds during the 1988-89 season. Additionally, Chinyelu recorded his 18th double-double of the season against Mississippi State earlier in March, tying Bob Smyth's record set during the 1975-76 season.

Condon has averaged single-season career-highs of 14.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 blocks per game in his second campaign as a starter. The 6-foot-11, 236-pound Condon also joined Florida's 1,000-point club in February.

In February, Condon was named to the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award Midseason Top 10 List, thanks to his six double-doubles and four 20-point games at the time.

Haugh, Chinyelu and Condon were each placed on the Coaches' and Associated Press' All-Southeastern Conference teams this week: Haugh took home First-Team honors from the league and AP, Chinyelu was respectively named to the First and Second-Teams, and Condon earned Second and Third-Team recognition. To pair, Chinyelu picked up both SEC Defensive Player of the Year and SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors.

Florida's star trio of guards from last season were each picked in the 2025 NBA Draft: Walter Clayton Jr. (Utah Jazz, No. 18 overall), Alijah Martin (Toronto Raptors, No. 39 overall), and Will Richard (Golden State Warriors, No. 56 overall). UF has not had multiple players selected in back-to-back NBA Drafts in program history.
