On the same side of the Champions League knockout phase as Liverpool, Real Madrid will take on Manchester City at the Bernabeu later today after knocking out Benfica in the previous round.
Alvaro Arbeloa's side will be without Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham through injury and Kylian Mbappe could miss out too, but Real Madrid is very used to taking on Pep Guardiola's men. Indeed, Real Madrid and Manchester City have played each other 15 times since the 2011/12 season.
Earlier in the tournament, Manchester City won 2-1 in Spain against Real Madrid with Nico O'Reilly and Erling Haaland scoring. Guardiola's side has won nine of its last 11 games in all competitions.

In the UK, the game will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 and Discovery+. It will be available via the channel's app to live stream. In the US, the match is set to be televised by Paramount+.
Last season, Real Madrid eliminated Manchester City but Guardiola says his squad is in a much better position to progress this time around.
"Definitely, we arrive better," he said during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
