Wembanyama shrugs off Adebayo's 83-point night

Despite Bam Adebayo scoring 83 points against the Wizards, Spurs star Victor Wembanyama seemed unfazed. When asked about the historic performance, he shrugged it off.

While the San Antonio Spurs were battling the Boston Celtics, Bam Adebayo made NBA history. He scored 83 points against the Washington Wizards, marking the second-most points ever scored in a single NBA game.

Spurs star Victor Wembanyama also had a strong performance, finishing with 39 points and 11 rebounds against Boston.

However, despite Adebayo's historic output, Wembanyama seemed unimpressed when asked about it after the game.

"Yeah, I saw... I think we're in a league where there is plenty of inspiration to look up to. But yeah, I saw," Wembanyama said when questioned about Adebayo's scoring.

Unlike many NBA stars who praised Adebayo, Wembanyama appears more focused on winning games than individual scoring feats.

Only Wilt Chamberlain has scored more points in a single game than Adebayo, making the 83-point performance one of the most notable in league history.
