Phoenix Suns guard Collin Gillespie raised eyebrows after the team's win over the Milwaukee Bucks, making it clear he wasn't paying attention to the scoring outburst.
"I don't really care," Gillespie said, according to SUNSWORLDWIDE on X (formerly Twitter). The comment sparked a reaction across social media, with fans and analysts debating the attitude. Gillespie later posted an apology.
"Meant no disrespect by it lol... just had nothing to do with our game or our team... it's still a historic and great accomplishment for him," though he has since deleted the tweet.
Adebayo also set the Heat's all-time single-game scoring record. A powerful dunk with 22.2 seconds left in the third quarter pushed him past LeBron James' 61-point mark from the 2013-14 season, making history for Miami.
