Reports: Ravens Bringing Back Chidobe Awuzie

The Ravens are reportedly bringing back one of their top cornerbacks from last season, Chidobe Awuzie.

It's a one-year deal worth $5 million, [per The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec](https://x.com/jeffzrebiec/status/2031796888362729749?s=20).

Awuzie, 30, had a strong first season in Baltimore and was at times the team's most consistent cornerback.

He played in 14 games, including five starts, broke up seven passes, and notched 43 tackles. Among cornerbacks who played at least 20% of their team's snaps, Awuzie had the 13th\-highest Pro Football Focus grade in the league.

Awuzie brought a swagger to Baltimore's secondary, and he will reportedly again team up with Nate Wiggins and Marlon Humphrey as the Ravens' top three cornerbacks.

Baltimore also has T.J. Tampa, Keyon Martin, and other cornerbacks returning and could supplement the group through the draft, but bringing back Awuzie would help solidify the unit's depth.
