Everton fans will be amazed to hear that Tottenham have remarkably reached out to Sean Dyche as the situation under Igor Tudor goes from bad to worse.
The Croatian has lost all four of his matches in charge of Spurs since replacing Thomas Frank, most recently going 4-0 down to Atletico Madrid within 22 minutes and eventually losing 5-2.
It means Tottenham have conceded 14 goals and scored just five under Tudor.
Now – according to Vincenzo Grappa of AP – Tottenham have made contact with the representatives of former Everton manager Sean Dyche as decision makers in N17 attempt to save Spurs from an unthinkable relegation.
Does Sean Dyche get enough credit for his spell at Everton? 🤔

Spurs make contact to hire Sean Dyche as faith in Igor Tudor wanes
When Everton dismissed Dyche in January 2025 after a run of just three wins in 19 games left the Toffees 16th – one point above the relegation zone – nobody would have expected to see him end up at Tottenham just over 12 months later.
However, that is now a realistic possibility.
Grappa wrote on X (previously known as Twitter): “Tentative contact made by Tottenham Hotspur with representative team of Sean Dyche. A basic retainer (common practice) is being discussed to have the ex Notts Forest and Burnley boss as a ready option should (Tottenham) require to hire. No news on any change yet. More to follow.”
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Not only has the 54-year-old been dismissed by Everton in recent times, but he also received his P45 at Nottingham Forest back in February of this year after just 114 days in charge.
So, for Dyche – who claimed some Everton players tried to dodge that relegation clash against Bournemouth in 2023 – to now be in discussions to potentially take over a side in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League represents a staggering turn of events, to say the very least.
There could be a fire sale in north London this summer if they go down! 🔥
