Fant, 6 feet 4, 249 pounds, was originally selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round (20th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft out of the University of Iowa. In seven NFL seasons with the Broncos (2019–21), Seattle Seahawks (2022–24) and Cincinnati Bengals (2025), Fant has appeared in 110 career games with 90 starts, recording 334 receptions for 3,593 yards (10.8 avg.) and 18 touchdowns.
In 2025 with Cincinnati, Fant appeared in 15 games with seven starts and recorded 34 receptions for 288 yards (8.5 avg.) with three touchdowns. In three seasons with Seattle (2022–24), he appeared in 48 games with 42 starts and totaled 130 receptions for 1,400 yards and five touchdowns. In his three seasons with Denver, Fant appeared in 47 games with 41 starts and posted 170 receptions for 1,905 yards and 10 touchdowns. He enjoyed his most productive seasons with the Broncos in 2020 and 2021, recording back-to-back campaigns with over 60 receptions and 670 receiving yards.
At Iowa, Fant was one of the most productive tight ends in program history. In 36 career games, he recorded 78 receptions for 1,083 yards (13.9 avg.) and 19 touchdowns, setting a school record for career touchdown receptions by a tight end. The Omaha, Neb., native earned first-team All-Big Ten honors as a junior in 2018 after leading all FBS tight ends with seven touchdown receptions.
