Bills signing former Dolphins Pro Bowl edge rusher to $43 million contract

The Buffalo Bills have finally addressed their pass rush in NFL free agency, and it comes from their division rival.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bills are signing edge rusher Bradley Chubb to a three-year deal worth $43.5 million that can reach $52.5 million.

"Former Dolphins DE Bradley Chubb reached agreement on a three-year, $43.5 million deal worth up to $52.5 million that includes $29 million guaranteed with the Buffalo Bills," Schefter said.

Chubb has been pretty productive over the last few seasons. In 17 starts this past year, the 29-year-old tallied 8.5 sacks and 48 quarterback pressures.

He missed all of 2024 due to a torn ACL, but in 2023, Chubb posted 11.5 sacks and was also a Pro Bowler in 2022.

Now in Buffalo, Chubb will be looking to give the Bills' defense a boost in the pass-rush department, an area they struggled in last season.

With the addition of Chubb, Buffalo should have a much-improved defensive front in 2026, though there is still work to be done for the Bills to return as a Super Bowl contender in the AFC.
