Everton are monitoring Ben White ahead of a potential summer deal for the Arsenal defender.
It was Pete O’Rourke who first claimed that Everton are tracking White as the England international faces an uncertain future in north London, amid recent claims that Arsenal need to sell a senior player to balance the books.
Now, the Telegraph have published a new story involving Tino Livramento – which suggests former Everton star Mikel Arteta may well be ready to sell the Arsenal No.4 to his old boss David Moyes.
Thoughts on potentially signing Ben White? 🤔

Arsenal plotting bid for Ben White replacement in Tino Livramento
The Telegraph now state that Arsenal are considering a bid for the Newcastle No.21 as he approaches the final two years of his contract on Tyneside.
There has been little indication that the England international plans to sign a new deal at Newcastle, and Arteta is sensing an opportunity to take the right-back as a result.
White has already lost his place to Jurrien Timber on the right of defence at Arsenal, and has no space to slot into the centre due to the formidable pairing of Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba.
So, if Livramento ends up providing even more competition for the 28-year-old at the Emirates Stadium, it would surely increase the chances of a summer exit for the former Brighton defender amid links to Everton.

Everton need to be wary of the numbers behind potential Ben White deal
We appreciate the ambition on show from The Friedkin Group to even have this move under consideration, but it could be a costly mistake if a deal happens.
White makes £150,000-a-week at Arsenal and cost the Gunners £50m when arriving from Brighton back in July 2021. Even if Arsenal settle for a £30m sale, that is still a hugely expensive package for Everton.
Not only that, but the man from Poole has a concerning injury history.
Season Days Injuries Games missed
25/26 62 days 3 9
24/25 120 days 4 27
23/24 12 days 1 1
21/22 21 days 1 2
The man with four caps for England has mainly struggled when it comes to knee issues, missing 92 days of the 2024/25 campaign after undergoing surgery.

Given how much a deal for White could cost Everton, The Friedkin Group and Moyes might therefore be better off targeting a younger, cheaper option with a proven record of consistent availability.
