Steelers Re-Sign OT Jack Driscoll

The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed veteran OT Jack Driscoll to a one-year contract, the team announced Wednesday. Driscoll returns after ending the 2025 season in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers didn’t disclose financial terms, but it’s likely a minimum-level contract, possibly a veteran-benefit deal.

Pittsburgh signed Driscoll to its practice squad last October. He was signed to the 53-man roster in late December after TE Darnell Washington landed on injured reserve with a broken arm. Despite several offensive tackle injuries, Driscoll never appeared in a game or logged snaps for the team and was inactive for the games he was on the 53-man roster.

A fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020, Driscoll has appeared in 67 career games with 18 starts. In 2024, he played in 13 games for the Eagles with one start.

Versatile, Driscoll has experience playing either tackle spot or right guard. For his career, he has logged the following snaps:

Right Tackle: 744

Right Guard: 551

Left Tackle: 151

Tackle-Eligible: 21

His most extensive experience came in 2021, playing over 500 snaps for the Eagles. Most of that work came at right guard, but he also logged time at right tackle.

Driscoll will provide veteran depth at both tackle spots. Broderick Jones is coming off a serious neck injury that leaves his 2026 status in doubt. Dylan Cook played well in relief but has limited NFL snaps. Calvin Anderson was cut earlier this month, and so far, Andrus Peat hasn’t been re-signed.

Exiting college, Driscoll measured in at 6045, 306 pounds with 33-inch arms. He’ll battle this summer to capture a spot on the team’s 53-man roster with the batch of Reserve/Future contracts the team signed shortly after the season ended.

Pittsburgh also confirmed re-signing LB Cole Holcomb to a two-year contract. Monday, the Steelers reportedly agreed to a one-year, $4 million deal with CB Asante Samuel Jr., but have yet to make it official.
