Arsenal have reportedly cooled their interest in Sandro Tonali ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Gunners made a last-minute attempt to sign the 25-year-old on January’s Deadline Day, but a move ultimately failed to materialise.
Despite that, Arsenal had previously been earmarked as favourites to land Tonali when the summer window opens. There has also been reported interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Now, a fresh update has emerged regarding Arsenal’s interest.
According to The Chronicle’s chief Newcastle writer Lee Ryder, Arsenal have dropped their interest in Tonali.

While Mikel Arteta’s side are shaping their transfer plans ahead of the summer, the Italian midfielder is not believed to feature on the club’s initial shortlist.
Tonali’s current contract with Newcastle United runs until the summer of 2028.
