S Andrew Wingard, LS Casey Kreiter reportedly signing with Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are signing former Jacksonville Jaguars safety Andrew Wingard, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

The deal spans one year and can reach up to $4 million.

Additionally, former New York Giants long snapper Casey Kreiter is signing with the franchise, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.

Wingard had spent the entirety of his seven-year NFL career with Jacksonville, starting 44 of 102 games played.

Starting a career-high 16 games in 2025, he recorded 84 tackles (three for loss), an interception, nine passes defensed and a quarterback hit.

Wingard now enters Arizona’s safeties room that is looking for its next starter opposite Budda Baker following Jalen Thompson’s departure to the Dallas Cowboys.

He’ll be in the mix alongside Dadrion “Rabbit” Taylor-Demerson and Kitan “Bug” Crawford.

As for Kreiter, the long snapper spent the past six seasons with New York after four years with the Denver Broncos. He earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2018.

He hasn’t missed a game since his rookie season, appearing in 159 contests.

Now, the attention turns to longtime Cardinals long snapper and unrestricted free agent Aaron Brewer, who could look to join another team or decide to retire.

Brewer first got to town in 2016 and has served as Arizona’s long snapper since then. He is the longest-tenured Cardinal.
