Steve Tisch Plans To Transfer NY Giants Ownership Stake To His Children

NEW YORK CITY — New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch is looking to transfer his ownership stake in the New York Giants to his children’s trusts, according to an NFL memo and an [ESPN report](https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/48174929/tisch-family-looks-transfer-giants-stake-children-trusts).

The move comes after Tisch's name appeared in the Epstein Files more than 400 times.

If the transfer is approved, Steve, Laurie and Jonathan Tisch would "no longer own any interest" in the Giants, according to ESPN.

"The Sellers now propose to transfer their entire remaining interests, totaling 23.1% of the Club, to the Trusts," the NFL memo detailed.

Tisch's name comes up 440 times in files released by the Department of Justice related to Epstein.

In several emails, Epstein and Tisch discussed setting up meetings with multiple women, according to the Athletic. They both made lewd comments about the woman's physical appearances.

Following the publication of the Athletic article, Tisch sent a statement addressing his relationship with Epstein.

"We had a brief association where we exchanged emails about adult women, and in addition, we discussed movies, philanthropy, and investments. I did not take him up on any of his invitations and never went to his island. As we all know now, he was a terrible person and someone I deeply regret associating with."

Tisch has not been accused of any crimes.
