There’s a lot of quarterback news and other Minnesota Vikings offseason rumors whirling around the internet the this evening, as we all anxiously wait for the next 2026 offseason shoe to drop.

Will it be a Jonathan Greenard trade or will the Vikings make Kyler Murray official? Or could we see Minnesota do something completely different before either of those situations are settled?

The Minnesota Vikings have needs at center, defensive tackle, wide receiver and throughout the secondary. The new league year is here and free agency opened Wednesday, so anything is possible, and it could come at any time.

Until then, let’s turn to the “in other Vikings news” category of topics, where the spotlight has been shined once again on 24-year-old wide receiver Jordan Addison. This time, however, it’s not for all the wrong reasons.

MN Vikings WR Jordan Addison trolling Patriots fans and players

Like many of us, Jordan likes to spend time on the internet. And on Tuesday, in response to being trolled in his comments on Instagram, he fired quite the stray at New England Patriots cornerback, Christian Gonzalez.

Barking back at a Pats fan who said Gonzalez would lock him down, Addison replied “training camp he was on the sideline ask em”. Jordan has since deleted his comment.

It’s easy to see why Jordan Addison is well liked in the Minnesota Vikings locker room, and his ability on the field has NEVER been in question. Can he stay out of trouble long enough to help a team win a championship or help himself make a boatload of money? That is yet to be seen.

Addison’s comment is just the latest in an Instagram thread of bangers where he has been cooking Patriots fans, telling them that New England is “ass”, while also standing up for JJ McCarthy.

There have been some whispers surrounding a possible Jordan Addison trade happening this offseason. But after the Vikings watched Jalen Nailor sign for a boatload of money in Las Vegas, there’s little to no chance they ship arguably their second-most talented offensive player out.

Over the course of his three-year NFL career, Jordan Addison has compiled 175 receptions for 2,396 yards and 22 touchdowns. He’s also racked up three arrests, the last of which charges were dropped. Christian Gonzalez — who’s started 34 games in three seasons as a Patriot and made the Pro Bowl in 2025 — has since responded.

#Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez and his trainer Coach Flight just cooked Jordan Addison 😭😭😭
