Jamal Murray is listed as probable on the official injury report for the Denver Nuggets' game on Friday, January 2.
The Denver Nuggets will host the Houston Rockets on March 11, for a matchup in Colorado.
Heading into this game, the Nuggets don’t have many questions on the injury report.
According to the initial injury report, the Nuggets have announced that Jamal Murray is cleared to play on Thursday. He was already available for the game, which signals he didn’t deal with any setbacks in his last outing. Also, the ankle must have responded well.
In the matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Murray checked in for 36 minutes. While his shot was a bit off (39% from the field, 0-4 from three), the Nuggets still benefited from the 21 points he produced.
Unfortunately, the Nuggets couldn’t come out on top. The OKC Thunder took home the 129-126 victory.
Who Will Start For The Nuggets vs. the Rockets?

The first-time All-Star had Nuggets fans worried about a possible long-term injury.
After seeing the court for 17 minutes against the Knicks on March 6, Murray needed assistance to get off the court and go back to the locker room.
The Nuggets announced that Murray was dealing with soreness, but they left the door open for him to continue playing moving forward. And he’ll do just that.
“It’s okay,” Murray told reporters after the loss against the Thunder.
“I just want to be on the court. I want to be playing, especially in a game like this, where there’s going to be high intensity and guys playing as hard as they did. I want to be out there as well. So, I’m glad I was able to push through.”

Denver is trying to climb up the standings.
Following losses against the New York Knicks and the Thunder, the Nuggets are 39-26 on the year, sitting sixth in the Western Conference.
The Nuggets trail the Minnesota Timberwolves by one game. Meanwhile, the Rockets have made the climb to No. 3. They enter the Thursday night matchup with a 40-24 record.
In the previous three matchups between the Rockets and the Nuggets this year, Denver has won twice. They picked up a 112-109 win in late November. When the two teams met again in mid-December, the Nuggets collected a 128-125 overtime victory.
The Rockets snapped any chance of a sweep by defeating the Nuggets 115-101 on December 20.
For the fourth and final time on Wednesday, the two teams will battle it out. The Nuggets and the Thunder are set to tip at 10 PM ET.
