Chelsea fell to a 5-2 defeat away at PSG in the Champions League, and unfortunately supporters had to ask questions of their goalkeeper in a big game again.
Filip Jorgensen was dicing with danger all night with the ball at his feet, and was finally caught out when he gave the ball away for Vitinha’s goal.
Chelsea were level at 2-2 before this, and very much in the tie ahead of a second leg at Stamford Bridge, although another Jorgensen error for PSG’s fifth goal has made the task close to impossible for the Blues.
What should Liam Rosenior’s next move be?🤔

Enzo Fernandez tears into Filip Jorgensen during Chelsea’s loss to PSG
The result feels most unfair on Enzo Fernandez, who marked an excellent performance with a goal but saw chaos ensue around him in the latter stages.
The frustration clearly got too much for him towards the end of the game. As captured by the TNT Sports cameras, Fernandez tore into Jorgensen after PSG had a late goal disallowed following another goalkeeping error.

The Argentine threw the ball in the direction of the goalkeeper, gesturing that he was not focused on the task in hand in Paris.
Liam Rosenior has to take accountability for the decision to drop the club’s number one goalkeeper, after unfortunately falling into the same trap that Igor Tudor did with Tottenham.

Robert Sanchez should have started against PSG
Robert Sanchez has had a great season, although has lost his place in the starting side due to one bad game against Arsenal.
History suggests he should have been playing against the holders last night. He enjoyed a special performance between the sticks in the Club World Cup final last summer.
He has built up a relationship with Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana, and would likely not have provided as many hospital passes as Jorgensen did.
PSG’s aggressive press lent into the idea that playing long was the best way to go, a tactic which paid off last summer too.
Chelsea will bring Sanchez into their side for the second leg, however it may be too late to save their Champions League hopes this season.
