Maxx Crosby says he's back with Raiders after failed trade to Ravens

March 12 (UPI) -- Maxx Crosby recommitted to the Las Vegas Raiders after his trade to the Baltimore Ravens fell through, the Pro Bowl pass rusher wrote on social media.

Crosby made his first public comments on the matter late Wednesday night on Instagram and X. The Raiders announced Tuesday night that the Ravens "back out of" their trade agreement for the pass rusher, which would have netted them two first-round picks.

"Everything happens for a reason," Crosby wrote on his social media platforms. "Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see.

"I'm a Raider. I'm back. Run that s---."

Crosby, 28, signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension with the Raiders in 2025. He is under contract through 2029. The five-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time second-team All-Pro, who joined the Raiders as a fourth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, registered 69.5 sacks over the first 110 appearances of his career.

He will return to a revamped Raiders defense, which now includes linebackers Nakobe Dean, Quay Walker and Kwity Paye and cornerback Taron Johnson, among other off-season acquisitions.
