Everton have been linked with Marcos Senesi, but Juventus are already making moves to sign the Bournemouth star.
Marcos Senesi will be out of contract this summer and an extension at the Vitality Stadium doesn’t appear to be on the horizon.

As such, interest in the player is plentiful.
Because Senesi has proven himself as a solid Premier League defender over the years, and his impending free agent status makes him even more desirable.
Of course, Everton could lose Michael Keane this summer, as he is also out of contract.
But any move for Senesi could be tricky, especially with Juventus seemingly already taking a step to sign him.
Juventus present offer to Everton target Marcos Senesi

According to Gazetta dello Sport, Senesi has emerged as a top target for Juventus ahead of the summer.
Indeed, Juve ‘identified him as the main reinforcement for the backline to be closed next summer’.

In an interesting line, it’s also stated that Senesi has always had his eye on Serie A, with ‘hope mixed with the conviction of landing there sooner or later’.
Italian journalist Mirko Di Natale reports the situation is actually even more advanced, claiming an offer has been put to the player.

He said on X: “Juventus, as anticipated, presented the offer for Marcos #Senesi in the past few hours.
“Now the player, who has other proposals in hand from the Premier League, #BVB, and #Barcelona, has taken some time to reflect and will decide in the coming days (possible already by the end of March).”
It is unclear whether there is any offer on the table from Everton at this stage.
Barcelona putting forth a proposal to Senesi is little surprise, after claims his head was turned by the Spanish giants.
Senesi would be an amazing free signing
So Juventus are now active in their pursuit of Senesi, and clearly it’s going to be a challenge for Everton to land the Argentine.
The level of interest in him only emphasises what a capable Premier League player he is.
There’s no doubt he’d be an amazing pick-up for free.
Andoni Iraola lauded Senesi recently, saying (via Bournemouth Echo): “I think Marcos has been very good. He was performing well even before I arrived to the club.

“I remember some games that I watched from the previous season where he performed really well. And with us, you know what to expect when you put Marcos in the starting lineup.
“On the ball, off the ball, he understands very well also the way we want to play and for us it’s very valuable. I don’t think it’s a big secret.”
That verdict says it all, and Everton couldn’t go wrong signing a player on a free in his prime like him. But any pursuit looks like it will be tricky.
