A former Green Bay Packers safety and current Virginia state senator sued the NFL disability plan, saying he was wrongly denied benefits despite medical evidence showing his inability to engage in paid work.
Aaron Rouse, who was drafted by the Packers in 2007 and also played for the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals, says he’s entitled to the highest level of disability benefits from the league plan based on neurological and cognitive impairments stemming from multiple concussions sustained during his NFL career.
