Logan Paul recently addressed doubts about his claim that WWE stopped him from having a boxing match with Le’Veon Bell.
The situation started when Paul offered $1 million to any NFL player who wanted to fight him in a boxing match. The challenge came after an online exchange with Tom Brady, who jokingly called professional wrestlers cute.
Paul responded by saying WWE wrestlers are just as athletic as NFL players and offered the cash prize to prove it. Bell, who has boxing experience, accepted the challenge. However, Paul later said the match was canceled because WWE stepped in and blocked it especially with major events like WrestleMania coming up.
Some fans questioned whether the situation was just another promotional stunt. In the past, Paul has teased fights while promoting products or projects.
Logan Paul Responds To Doubts About WWE Blocking NFL Fight
Speaking on his YouTube vlogs, Logan Paul addressed doubts about WWE blocking his proposed fight with NFL players. He explained that TMZ contacted WWE to confirm whether the company had stopped him from boxing.
He said, “TMZ called the WWE to ask them if they actually told me that I couldn’t box. They fact checked me. They called my employers. Bro, what the f*** would lead you to believe that I was making that up?”
Paul responded to those doubts in a video. “Yes, me and KSI promoted our third fight and it helped launch Prime,” Paul said. “Yes, Jake and I teased a fight and then we launched our reality show.” He also mentioned another example. “Yes, me and Bradley Martyn fought and then redid the footage to promote Prime Shake.” Despite those examples, Paul insisted this situation was different. “But besides those three things… nah, that call was serious.”
