There appears to be some confusion, or conspiracy, surround the Twitter account of Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka. While the Bucs shared a tweet claiming that the account @EgbukaEmeka does not belong to their second-year wideout, the had followed and tagged the account in the past.
The attention being paid to the @EgbukaEmeka account came after its owner shared a tweet asking where or not CTE “is real.” The account has since been suspended, while the Bucs issued a statement saying it does not belong to Egbuka.

NFL fans are suspicious over the Tampa Bay Bucs claiming that Emeka Egbuka’s Twitter account is fake despite following him and tagging him multiple times
While the Bucs might be claiming that this is not Egbuka’s official account, the team has an extensive history of following and tagging the account, making NFL’s suspicious about what the truth actually is. The Bucs have tagged the account multiple times this year alone, in fact.
What a year for @EgbukaEmeka 🙏

Needless to say, NFL fans have been left scratching their heads over the bizarre series of social media events.
We gotta investigate this. Official Bucs page has tagged that account numerous times, players and media follow it. Then it mysteriously gets deleted after this statement.#EgbukaGate https://t.co/cw5BpX1z8p
