Fans are losing it after Kyler Murray update involving 1 Packers’ NFC North rival

After Kyler Murray was officially released by the Arizona Cardinals, a Green Bay Packers rival in the NFC North Division has become heavily linked to the dual-threat quarterback.

On Wednesday, Adam Schefter reported that Murray will meet with the Minnesota Vikings.

“Former Cardinals QB Kyler Murray will visit Thursday with the Minnesota Vikings, as

@Gambo987 [John Gambadoro] also reported. The belief across the league is that the Vikings are Murray’s likely landing spot,” posted Schefte on X.

The Vikings seem like a decent landing spot for Murray for a career restart. For one, Minnesota is coached by Kevin O’Connell, who helped give Sam Darnold’s career a major spark, with the quarterback eventually winning a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks.

Fans react to seemingly inevitable Murray deal with Packers rival

Meanwhile, Schefter’s post sparked wild reactions from fans online, with many expressing positive sentiment about the idea.

“Kyler Murray to Minnesota feels like it’s been inevitable all day 👀,” said a fan on X.

Another one said: “We saw what K.O. did with Sam Darnold last year—now imagine what he can do with a dual-threat weapon like Kyler. The NFC North isn’t ready!”

From a commenter: “This feels like the landing spot everyone’s been circling. Murray + that Vikings supporting cast = serious upside. Thursday’s visit could lock it in. Watching closely”

“Vikings snagging Murray? wild move if true,” a social media user posted.

Via a different commenter: “A move to the Minnesota Vikings could be a fresh start for Kyler Murray. New system, new weapons, and a chance to reset his career trajectory..”

Said another: “If Murray lands in Minnesota, expect analytics nerds to have a field day. This isn’t just a QB signing, it’s a division-level earthquake.”
