Buffalo Bills sign linebacker Bradley Chubb to three-year deal

The Bills made a defensive splash in free agency, signing outside linebacker Bradley Chubb to a three-year deal.

Chubb, 29, is coming off an 8.5 sack season with the Miami Dolphins, also recording 47 tackles, 20 quarterback hits and two forced fumbles. Since coming into the league in 2017 as the fifth overall pick, Chubb has recorded 48 career sacks, 112 QB hits, 53 TFL and 15 forced fumbles.

In Week 17 of the 2023 season, Chubb suffered a torn ACL with the Dolphins, costing him to miss the entire 2024 season. Prior to the injury, Chubb was in the midst of one of the best seasons of his career. He had 11 sacks in 16 games, one shy of his career high. He also had a league-high six forced fumbles and 22 QB hits.
