The Green Bay Packers are seeing many of their former coaches and players join the Miami Dolphins this off-season. Of course, this should come as no surprise. Jon Eric-Sullivan, who was an executive in Green Bay for over two decades, is now the general manager in Miami.
Jeff Hafley, most notably, was hired by the Dolphins to be their next head coach, replacing Mike McDaniel. He also brought many of his defensive coaches from Green Bay with him to Miami. Additionally, he retained former Packers defensive coordinator Joe Barry as his linebackers coach.
And, of course, Malik Willis was just signed by the Dolphins to be their starting quarterback, replacing Tua Tagovailoa, who has since been signed by the Atlanta Falcons.

Yesterday, it was reported that former Packers safety Zayne Anderson, who primarily played special teams, also was signed by the Dolphins.
Also last night, it was further reported that former Green Bay tight end Ben Sims had been signed by Miami:
The Dolphins are signing TE Ben Sims to a one-year deal, per The Insiders.

Sims was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Vlkings in 2023. However, Minnesota released him after training camp, and he was claimed by the Packers a day after.
Sims appeared in all 17 games for Green Bay that year, catching four passes for 21 yards and a touchdown. Like Anderson, he primarily played special teams for the Packers.
In 2024, Sims again played all 17 games, and caught four passes for 42 yards. Even though he initially made the roster in 2025, Green Bay released Sims after three games last season. He was picked up, ironically, by the Vikings, with whom he played eight games and caught three passes for 30 yards.
