Liverpool are heading back on the road this for summer pre-season – but this time it’s across the Atlantic where tickets are already one sale. After a hugely successful 2025 tour of Asia, which saw Arne Slot’s side face AC Milan in Hong Kong before a first-ever summer visit to Japan, the club has opted to switch continents for their 2026/27 preparations.
Those games in Hong Kong and Yokohama drew big crowds and were seen inside the club as a win both in footballing terms and commercially.
This year, the focus shifts to the United States. Liverpool have confirmed a three-stop tour featuring fixtures against Sunderland, Wrexham and Leeds United as part of a mini-tournament-style schedule across Nashville, New York and Chicago. The Reds will open against Sunderland at Geodis Park on 25 July, then meet Wrexham at New York’s Yankee Stadium on 29 July, before rounding things off versus Leeds at Soldier Field in Chicago on 2 August.
With more than 26 million Liverpool supporters estimated to live in the USA and the club ranked as the Premier League’s most-watched team there last season, the tour is designed to tap into a booming market and reward fans who rarely get to see the team live.
Financially, trips like this can be extremely lucrative. While Liverpool do not disclose exact figures, similar Premier League tours to the States have generated well over £10m in match and tour revenue alone for rival clubs, before factoring in sponsorship activations, merchandise sales and new local partnerships.
For supporters, though, the headline is simple: tickets are now on general sale. The club has confirmed that, following an initial pre-sale window, fans can book seats for all three US fixtures via the official Liverpool FC ticket links, with further details and pricing available on the website. Anyone keen to see Slot’s new-look squad up close in Nashville, New York or Chicago now has the chance to lock in their spot for what promises to be a lively summer tour.
