Three Seattle Seahawks became unrestricted free agents Wednesday.

Tight end Brady Russell, wide receiver Cody White and defensive tackle Brandon Pili did not receive tenders from the team as restricted free agents before the 1 p.m. deadline that marked the start of the new league year, meaning all three are now on the open market.
Seattle either re-signed or tendered its four other restricted free agents: wide receiver Jake Bobo (tendered), linebacker Drake Thomas (signed), safety AJ Finley (signed) and long snapper Chris Stoll (signed).
Russell, 27, has spent the past three seasons with the Seahawks since being signed off Philadelphia’s practice squad on Sept. 20, 2023. The Colorado product has served as a depth tight end, fullback and key special teamer during his time in Seattle. Russell has not recorded a catch during his three-year NFL career, but has totaled 31 tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams. Russell’s 396 special teams snaps in 2025 led the Seahawks.
White, 27, was signed to Seattle’s practice squad during the 2023 season. He made his Seahawks debut in 2024 with an impressive performance, hauling in two receptions for 44 yards and blocking a punt in a Week 9 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Michigan St. product had three catches for 90 yards and a his first career TD in 10 games this past season. He also played 117 special teams snaps and had seven tackles. White has 11 receptions for 169 yards and a TD in 30 games over four pro seasons with the Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pili, 26, was a 2024 practice squad signing and made his Seahawks debut in 2025. The 6-foot-3, 344-pound defensive lineman had 12 tackles and a forced fumble in 13 games. Pili, a USC product, has 16 tackles in 25 career games over three pro seasons with the Seahawks and Miami Dolphins.
