The Dallas Cowboys may have one of their most talented rosters in years, but the question facing the franchise is whether the championship window is already starting to close.
That debate drove the latest episode of Dallas Express Sports Network, where host Scooter Magruder joined a panel including Mark Elfenbein, Chris Yates, Will Coburg, Chris Putnam, and Jamie Kelton to examine the team’s outlook.
Some panelists argued the current core may not have much time left to deliver a Super Bowl.
“Yes, absolutely,” one panelist said when asked whether this could be the best and last chance for the group to win it all. “You can’t squeeze much more life out of this.”
Others pointed to the age of quarterback Dak Prescott and the team’s recent playoff struggles as reasons the Cowboys may need results soon.
At the same time, some panelists said they believe Dallas could still have a two- to three-year window if the team builds the defense and adds the right pieces through the draft and free agency.
Several also emphasized that the pressure remains on Prescott to deliver in the postseason.
“I still want to see it from Dak,” one panelist said. “Let me see it in a playoff game.”
The discussion reflects the growing question among Cowboys fans: is this the team’s best shot at a championship, or is the window already beginning to close?
