Sean Dyche would be reluctant to take over Tottenham Hotspur on a short-term deal, talkSPORT understands.
Dyche is among the names being considered if, as anticipated, Spurs decide to axe interim-boss Igor Tudor following his nightmare start.

The former Burnley and Everton boss would seek a commitment beyond the end of the season, just as he did when appointed by Spurs’ relegation rivals Nottingham Forest.
Hiring Dyche would be an acceptance by the Tottenham hierarchy they need a firefighter-style gaffer to save them from an embarrassing drop into the Championship.
Other potential options are re-hiring two-time former interim Ryan Mason or club legend Robbie Keane, currently in charge of Hungarian champions Ferencvaros.
As talkSPORT exclusively revealed on Wednesday, hard-line Tudor has already alienated a lot of his players.

Ibrahima Konate’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain.
Konate’s current deal comes to an end this summer and he is yet to sign an extension.
It means he could opt to follow ex-teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold by leaving on a free transfer.
While talks with Liverpool are understood to be ongoing, Real Madrid are among the clubs understood to be monitoring Konate’s situation.
The 26-year-old has played 110 games for Liverpool since a £36million move to Anfield from RB Leipzig in 2021.
Liverpool are likely to be reluctant to lose Konate even with young centre-back Jeremy Jacquet joining from Rennes at the end of the season and another prospect, Giovanni Leoni, returning from injury.

Lewis Hall is emerging as a strong option to fill England’s left-back headache at the World Cup.
In his ten games in charge, Thomas Tuchel has tried six different players in the problematic position and the player who has featured there most, Myles Lewis-Skelly, is not a regular starter for Arsenal.
Manchester City’s Nico O’Reilly has shone there in a Three Lions jersey, but is now back in his more preferred central midfield role at club level.
Manchester United ace Luke Shaw is hoping for a recall when Tuchel names his squad for the March internationals next week.
However, sources have told talkSPORT the German has been impressed with 21-year-old Hall, who excelled up against Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal in Newcastle’s 1-1 Champions League draw on Tuesday.
Hall has two senior caps to his name.

Hammer blow
Mateus Fernandes will seek to leave West Ham if they are relegated.
Fernandes only joined the Hammers from Southampton last summer in a deal worth £42m and has been one of their standout performers.
But the Portuguese midfielder would not want to play in the Championship and has admirers in the Premier League and Europe.

Manchester United, who are looking to bolster their midfield this summer, are among the clubs who have scouted Fernandes.
The 21-year-old has chipped in with three goals and as many assists from 27 top-flight outings this term.
